33 Days to Morning Glory Marian Consecration

At Home Retreat ~ January 9 – February 11

Join us for an at-home Marian Consecration retreat beginning January 9, 2026, and concluding on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes on February 11, 2026. Marian consecration is a consecration to Jesus through Mary. Saint John Paul II described his own consecration as a “turning point” in his life. This retreat focuses on the teachings of 4 Marian experts, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Mother Teresa, St. John Paul II, and St. Louis de Montfort. The retreat will be done individually in our homes, but we will setup a chat group of members to communicate throughout the retreat about the teachings. Each day requires approximately 15 minutes to read the teachings, then you will find yourself pondering those teachings throughout your normal day.

You will need to purchase a book; there are many purchase options. We have provided links for direct purchase on the church webpage or contact Angie Hartman for assistance. There is a small cost for the book (~$15).

PRE - Parish Religious Education

2025-2026

Classes begin on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. 

• Please register your child now. There are forms in the church vestibule as well as links to online forms below.

• If you are new to Sacred Heart or if you are enrolling a Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade student then we will need a copy of their baptismal certificate.

• All 2nd and 9th graders need to attend all classes unless there is an emergency.  They are in Sacrament preparation and it is important that they attend.

• This year drop off and pick up will be at the main Elementary Building Entrance. Please do not park in those parking spots so pick up and drop off will be easier.

OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults 

Order of Christian of Adults usually begins in the fall around the end of August or September and will continue until Easter.  We meet on Monday nights during that time.

Confirmation

Confirmation is March 15, 2026 at Sacred Heart. Parent information will be sent out soon. Mrs. Sarah M. Koch is the coordinator for all sacrament preparation. Email is the best way to contact her at shdreoffice@gmail.com.

First Communion

Our patronal feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be Friday, June 27th. 

We will have a special vigil mass on Thursday, June 26th at 6 p.m., 

followed immediately by a potluck supper in the gym; 

please bring a dish and celebrate our namesake with the whole parish.
