The Next Chapter is a student driven publication that includes poetry, short stories, and art. Students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to submit their work during the Spring. The submissions are then chosen prior to end of the school year.
The Creative Writing class (grades 10-12) contributes writing submissions as well and acts as the editorial team for the publication. Copies of the 2022-23 edition will be available in the fall of the 2023-2024 school year and can be purchased by emailing Irene Taylor at itaylor@sacredheartmorrilton.org.
Quiz Bowl

Sacred Heart Catholic School has been a member of the Arkansas Governor's Quiz Bowl Association since 2004. At this time, Sacred Heart implemented their first Jr. High team. Three years later, a Sr. High team was added. Since 2007. Sacred Heart has won two State Championships and one State Runner-up.
Students in 4th – 12th grades are eligible to try-out for Quiz Bowl. Try-outs are held in early September each year.

Key Club

Key Club aims to cooperate with school principals and teachers to provide high school students with invaluable experience in living and working together and to prepare them for useful citizenship. Our students work with our local Kiwanis Club each year to host events for Action Services for individuals with development disabilities, partners with the VFW to display over 1,000 flags on all patriotic holidays, cleans up highway litter, and other service projects every year.

The Sacred Heart Knockout Knights Robotics team has made history again! After competing at the state level in Fayetteville on January 20, 2024, they have advanced to an International Competition for the second year in a row. Originally invited to the Brazil Open Invitational which was unexpectedly canceled, the team recently received an invitation to the WPI Open Invitational in Worcester, MA. They will be the only team competing from Arkansas at this event with over 100 teams from all over the world. The Knockout Knights are so excited to be representing Sacred Heart, the town of Morrilton, and the state of Arkansas! Please consider donating to help our team get there! All donations are 100% tax deductible. Thank you so much for all your support!

Drama Club

Our Drama Club meets weekly as we prepare for the school production. It consists of 7th-12th graders who are interested in aspects of Theatre. This year's play will be announced soon, and auditions will be held September 22, 2022. The school play is set for April 28th and 29th of 2023.
