K-12 Admission

Thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart Catholic School! We understand that choosing a school for your family is a very important decision, and we are delighted you are considering Sacred Heart to partner with you in the education and faith formation of your child.

Our online application for the 2024-2025 school year is NOW OPEN! All applicants will need to apply through our online application process.

If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Alisha Koonce, Director of Advancement, 501.354.4358, akoonce@sacredheartmorrilton.org. Thank you!

ADMISSIONS

Sacred Heart Catholic School will admit students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to other students. All students are accepted on a probationary basis, both academically and behaviorally. Final decisions regarding admission and placement rest with the administration.

The admission process begins after completion of the information form by the legal guardian. An interview may be held with the counselor or principal; however, in cases of questionable admissions, administration will determine whether Sacred Heart can serve the needs of a particular student. A meeting with the bookkeeper is required.

All admissions paperwork must be completed.

Full disclosure of a student’s academic and behavioral records is required upon registration. Lack of disclosure can result in denial of admission to Sacred Heart School or dismissal of the student.

Based on availability of tuition assistance, no child of a parishioner will be denied the opportunity to attend his/her parish school due solely to the inability to pay full tuition.

We welcome students of other faiths upon space availability. All students enrolled in Sacred Heart (K-12) will be enrolled in religion class. Non- Catholic parents should be aware that the Catholic religion is taught in religion classes and formation is a primary purpose of the school’s existence. A passing grade in knowledge of the Catholic religion is required of every student for promotion from each grade and for graduation from high school. The celebration of the Eucharist (Mass), the sacraments, retreats, penance services, and other liturgical celebrations will be scheduled throughout the school year.

We look forward to meeting you. If you have not already done so, please consider making an appointment to visit. We would very much like to meet you and encourage you to tour our school and campus.

We appreciate your interest and hope to assist you in any way we can.
