Sacred Heart Elementary

Special Events 2020-2021



Halloween – Friday, October 30th – NO PARTY

*Students may wear a costume, Halloween shirt with jeans, or school uniform pants/shorts ****(Costume Guidelines Below)

*Parents may send goody bags for the class


All Saints’ Day (11/1) – Students dress up on November 2nd – NO PARTY

*Students (K-6) may dress as their favorite saint. Students must wear school uniform if they choose not to participate.


Christmas – Friday, December 18th – PARTY @ 11am/noon dismissal

Reminder:  Due to Covid, visitors are not allowed at this time.

* Students may wear Christmas shirt with jeans or school uniform pants/shorts

*Gift exchange

*Parents may send snacks/goody bags

*Money will be collected to cover cost of pizza/drinks


Valentine’s Day – Friday, February 12th – NO PARTY

*Students MUST wear uniforms

*Card exchange (bring cards that day)

*K-3 will make Valentine boxes at home and bring that day

*4-6 will be provided bags for their valentines

*Parents may send goody bags for the class


Easter Egg Hunt (Kindergarten Only) – Thursday, April 1st – NO PARTY

*Students MUST wear uniforms

*Kindergarten will have an Easter Egg Hunt.

*Each kindergarten child should send 12 plastic eggs, filled with wrapped candy

*Each kindergarten child should bring an Easter basket for the egg hunt




Halloween Costume Guidelines

For SH Elementary

Face-paint and costume masks are NOT permitted.

No accessories/props (Examples: wigs, swords, wands, handcuffs, etc.)

Students must be able to sit in their desk.

Students must be able to fasten/unfasten costume by themselves to use restroom.

Costumes must conform to our Free Dress Day standards. (Nothing too short, no spaghetti straps, etc.)

Appropriate shoes must be worn.
