Job Description Qualifications: Documentation of one (1) of the following educational levels:
Bachelor's Degree or higher Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university.
Associate's Degree of higher in a non-related field from a regionally accredited college or university plus one (1) of the following:
Experience in early childhood education;
Child Development Associate Credential (CDA); or
Birth - Pre-K Credentials
Preference given for Catholic applicants, as teaching religion classes is expected.
Reports to: Sacred Heart Pre-School Director
Terms of Employment: This position is full-time, 7am-3pm, 12 months.
Job Goal: Sacred Heart pre-school teachers are expected to carry out job responsibilities in accordance with all applicable Arkansas Department of Human Services, Diocese of Little Rock Office of Catholic Schools, and Sacred Heart Catholic School guidelines.

Terms of Employment: The contract length will be 188 days.
Evaluation: Based on the Diocese of Little Rock Office of Catholic Schools' policies, and performed by the principal.
Job Goal: The classroom teacher will endeavor to teach and educate students according to standards for the Diocese of Little Rock as promulgated by the Office of Catholic Schools or other accrediting body. Furthermore, the teacher will teach the adopted curriculum developed and implemented by Sacred Heart Catholic School working always to provide the richest educational experience possible. He or she will also strive to teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted to his/her care by Sacred Heart School.
