As you are likely aware, winter weather is expected to impact our area in the coming days. Our highest priority is getting everyone home safely and well before any weather begins.

Based on this morning’s weather models, we am hopeful that we will be able to have a normal day of school tomorrow. At this time, there is a zero percent chance of precipitation, and temperatures are expected to remain above freezing through at least 5:00 p.m. A decision regarding after-school care will be made asap.

Typically we follow SCCSD's lead when it comes to weather dismissal - but not always. We will send parent alert texts regarding any cancellations or dismissals.

After reviewing our instructional minutes, we are able to take three true snow days, if needed. On those days, students will not be expected to complete any schoolwork, and teachers should not assign work. A normal homework assignment may be given tomorrow, with the expectation that it will be due when we return to school. If a fourth day becomes necessary, it would be a virtual learning day, and teachers would be expected to assign work at that time.

We will observe National Catholic Schools Week from January 26-31 if we are able to be at school. Please be sure and read the announcements about it at https://shmorrilton.org/3LHNztG. Regardless if we are in school, please consider supporting our Day of Giving January 28th!
