Sacred Heart Elementary: Special Events 2025-2026

Halloween – Friday, October 31st – NO PARTY

  • Students may wear a costume, Halloween shirt with jeans, or school uniform pants/shorts ****(Costume Guidelines Attached)
  • Parents may send goody bags for the class

 

All Saints’ Day is Saturday, November 1st, but we will celebrate on Monday, November 3rd- NO PARTY

  • Students (K-6) may dress as their favorite saint. Students must wear a school uniform if they choose not to participate. Required for 4th-6th grades.

 

Christmas Spirit Week - December 15th-19th :

  • Monday: Night Before Christmas- wear Christmas pajamas 
  • Tuesday: Santa’s Workshop Imposters: dress like you work in Santa’s shop (santa, elf, reindeer, toy, tree, etc)
  • Wednesday: What Not to Wear- wear an ugly Christmas sweater
  • Thursday: Sockin’ Around the Christmas Tree- wear Christmas socks
  • Friday: Festive Friday- wear jeans and a Christmas shirt 

 

Christmas Program - Thursday, December 18th @ 1:00

 

Christmas – Friday, December 19th – PARTY @ 11am/noon dismissal

  •  Students may wear a Christmas shirt with jeans or school uniform pants/shorts
  • Gift exchange
  • Parents may send snacks/goody bags
  • Money will be collected to cover cost of pizza/drinks

 

Homecoming Spirit Week – (TBD)

 

Valentine’s Day – Saturday, February 14th -NO SCHOOL

  • Class party on Thursday because we are out Friday. Students may wear a valentine t-shirt and jeans or a school uniform. Students may bring valentines for every student in their class.
  • SH will be accepting deliveries on Thursday, February 12th. 

 

St Patrick’s Day – Tuesday, March 17th: NO PARTY

  • Students may wear jeans and a St. Patty’s Day shirt

 

Easter Egg Hunt (Kindergarten Only) – Thursday, April 2nd: NO PARTY

  • Students MUST wear uniforms
  • Kindergarten will have an Easter Egg Hunt.
  • Each kindergarten child should send 12 plastic eggs, filled with wrapped candy
  • Each kindergarten child should bring an Easter basket for the egg hunt

 

Halloween Costume Guidelines for SH Elementary

  • Face-paint and costume masks are NOT permitted.
  • No accessories/props (Examples: wigs, swords, wands, handcuffs, etc.)
  • Students must be able to sit at their desk.
  • Students must be able to fasten/unfasten costumes by themselves to use the restroom.
  • Costumes must conform to our Free Dress Day standards. (Nothing too short, no spaghetti straps, etc.)
  • Appropriate shoes must be worn.
